ABOUT
Hello, I'm Toy, founder of DV Behind Closed Doors™. As a now divorced single mom who overcame domestic violence, I am on a mission to share my personal journey to instill hope and strength in those who have confronted similar adversities.
Becoming a certified domestic and sexual violence advocate, I have invested many crisis response training hours to better support victims in need. My journey of overcoming hardships and obstacles has shaped my unwavering commitment to championing the rights of others.
I founded DV Behind Closed Doors™!, the first-of-its-kind immersive digital domestic violence program in our region. Our platform is a beacon of immersive education and compassionate advocacy in the battle against domestic violence. Witnessed by a growing demand from local and regional churches, colleges, political figures, moms' groups, influential individuals, and esteemed organizations both near and far. Through our initiative, we extend a supportive hand and offer essential information to those seeking assistance, a cause deeply close to my heart. Acknowledging the transformative impact of organizations that once supported me, I am dedicated to aiding individuals in rebuilding their lives post-trauma.
I have had the privilege to share my narrative at organizational fundraisers, conduct workshops, and engage with psychology experts, survivors, and perpetrators of domestic violence. Additionally, I have developed self-help materials, online courses, and educational videos addressing this critical issue. My relentless dedication to aiding survivors is not just a duty but a personal ethos, mirrored by DV Behind Closed Doors™ mission of fostering healing, empowerment, and enlightenment in the battle against domestic violence.
In shedding light on the reality of being a domestic violence victim, I created Vicarious, an innovative tool utilizing modern digital technology to immerse participants in a survivor's experiences. By encouraging understanding, sparking crucial discussions, and inspiring proactive measures against domestic violence, Vicarious™ and DV Behind Closed Doors™ embody our shared aspiration of forging a world free from abuse.
We take pride in empowering victim-survivors, mothers, friends, supporters, groups, companies, investors, and associations to educate themselves on domestic violence through our online courses, videos, workbooks, workshops, and AI chat advocates. Those interested in licensing our programs are invited to join us in combating domestic violence.
Collaborate with DV Behind Closed Doors™ to improve the lives of survivors and contribute to a society free from abuse.
